It does work, I'm driving fine now. Brian is at the dyno right now. Can't wait to see what he pulls!!!

Very smooooooth high end boost, need more low end in my opinion. My final impression won't be here until it is tuned.

m777erlin's car will be tuned with VAFC and we will be putting in one degree colder NGK copper sparks. And hopefully we can do some more driving in a cooler weather. We took some test drive. BTW, when we went out for a test drive. And I pointed to a brid that was flying on top of our head. That bird decided to leave us with something of his. We were hit dead-on. The car had the top down, my white T-shirt was the victim. it was disgusting but funny. I think that bird was laffing all the way.

So if one doesn't have a VFAC then the Vortech kit wouldn't have to be tuned right?

 

The Vortech kit comes running rich for safety purpose. You will have a fine working kit that will runs fine. With VAFC, you can lean it out and produce more power.

 

M777erlin: since you got your kit running I have a couple of questions for you.

1. Is the sc loud enough to hear while driving?
2. can you hear the by pass valve?
3. when do you feel the boost kick in?
4. any excess vibration from the sc?
5. was it worth every penny?
