I'm still unclear as to why the cage is not SCCA legal. Is it a functional flaw with the cage itself, or is it just a rule issue withe the SCCA? It seems like people have been successfully using these in track events (non-SCCA) with good results.
Either way, it looks great installed in the car!
Spoon US, how much seat travel do you use when you install that thing? It looks snug in the driver's seat.

Other reason why the Cusco cage is not legal for most forms of US racing is too many bends in the tubes. One thing to remember is that even though its not legal for US racing, doesn't mean its not safe. Roll cage requirements in the US tend to be on the over engineered/litigation side of things.
if it is the cusco/safety-21 one. you are good to go.. you get the right thickness i am pretty sure i checked it right but yuo guys can correct me
