May sound like a dumb question, but how long do you have to play the game before you can modify cars? I am a newbie at Gran Tourismo.

You can modify cars right after the tutorial as long as you have the money to do it. You'll need to win a few races though so it'll be like a couple hours before you have enough money.

Not on PS4, all you need is a PS3 and I just bought one brand new for $200.
