Got hit!
i also know how you feel not to long agq some guy hit my driver side quarter panel, it was bad so bad that i went to 5 bodyshops and everybody said "nope you gotta cut and replace it, you cant fix that" luckily i was recomended to some other body shop and without even sweating it he was like not aproblem thats cake, so i left my baby in his hands. next thing you know the day after i had left it he calls me telling me to go pick it up its done. i figured this guys did garbage in about a day 1/2. anyways to make a long story short he charge me $800 for what should've cost $1500 and he did a miracle. ill recommend him to anybody....
Hit and run's are nightmares. I went to one of the local body shops recommended by a friend, and that bodyshop ended up overspraying the paint onto my top and the bumper fitting was extremely poor. Not to mention to miraculous hand marks on the trunk (I think they pushed my car in neutral).
well... unfortunately your car will never be the same, but it will be very difficult to tell if they do a good job. A repaint is a repaint, and it's impossible to make it look 100% like it did from the factory. The match should be easy and nothing to worry about, but the panel might look slightly like an eggshell in certain light. Especially by running your finger around edges.
I can't tell from the pics, but are they replacing the panel, filling it or what?
Nice car btw
Hope you get it back in time for the ride to London!
