Wash that tip with polishing soap. Or really light polish or cleaner wax.

yea, no doubt! It's been bugging me too and my whole car is actually dirty from all the rain we've been getting last week here in GA.

And, I'm actually scared to polish my tips, heard the "burn" can rub off!
