I think carbon fiber would be bad ass, why paint? Plus the whole thing with smaller mirrors and them being black is it gives your car more sleek profile.

Exactly why certain car manufacturers do the two tone *NSX* top with black mirrors or even just black mirrors. So the car looks more sleek.

Car looks taller with windshield tape off when top is up... So does NSX when it is one light color instead of two tone ones such as red with top painted black and tinted windows.

Same idea thing with mirrors.

you make a very good point. but when i was younger, i remember a lot of cars came from the factory with black mirrors and i always thought that the cars had a more finished look when the mirrors were painted to match the body.

Agreed if its JUST black. Carbon Fiber stands out and since its not an over sized item as well it won't looks silly. I am not trying to change your opinion and just saying try it and then if you don't like then paint it.

nah. i am certain i will like them much better painted silver than black. and i also want to install them only once. i hate doing things twice. thanks for your input though
