Default Got some new wheels

Wasnt planning on picking up a set of wheels first, but couldnt pass up this deal so I made the 16 hour round trip journey to pick them up.

Yes, I know it desperately needs a drop lol but knock on wood my springs should be in today. Cant wait to get em slapped on, can already tell a big difference in handling so really looking forward to the drop to help with that as well.

Had to do a quick pitstop wheel change at the hotel because it was raining the whole time, but couldnt of been a happier camper

Took a few pics along the way through Virginia since it was my 1st time up that way.

Ha, that's a long journey. I know the feeling of wanting to put on your wheels...mine have been sitting in boxes in my room for the last 3 months!!

They look sweet, will look better with a cleaning, tire polish, and a drop.

clarkster009 - Yeah long wasnt the word, the road just kept going & going but thankfully I had a few speed buddies to help keep the trip a lil eventful lol and make good time. Wow, you are a patient man no way in hell could I sit and stare at a set of wheels for 3 months without putting em on haha. But i'm guessing its for good reason, crappy winter?

Thanks man. Oh yeah, definitely look 100x times better once I get the springs on this week and get her cleaned up from the road trip.

justind - Thanks man, appreciate it. Yeah i'll toss a few pics up once the springs are on, rears rolled, and hoping my lip comes in this week.

Yeah, I can imagine. I had a long distance gf the last few months I was driving 10 hr RT every other weekend...it's painful. Ha yeah, the S migrated to FL for the winter I get it back end of next month and gonna put the wheels (and some other stuff) on Would be able to put more in my car if I hadn't made so many trips up And then she broke up with me

Anyways

What size and offset? And brand for that matter?

clarkster009 - Wow, dunno if I could ever do a 10 hr trek hell even once a month or so for a chic lol but hopefully she was worth it for the time being haha. Ehhh, guess that answers my comment on the worth it part since she broke up with ya. Psh women, cant live with em and cant kill em hahaha. Congrats on getting her back man, i'm sure it'll be anice reunion after having to be without her for sooo long.

Work Emotion CR Kai's 17x8 +47 & 17x9 +44, never really liked the wheels to much when looking at them online but after seeing them in this offset on the car I fell in love haha and its hard I think to find a color combo that looks good on yellow so couldnt pass these up.

Ha, yeah, hindsigght is 20/20. You can't kill them? Jk, thats funny though cause thats the phrase my buddy at work shared with me. Yeah, I haven't driven her in 6 months or so, it's terrible. AND i "wasted' a speeding ticket in a PATHFINDER going up to see the ex one time grr

Ah that's what I thought...mine are 17 x 9 +45 all around so I guess that's what my rears will look like. You going to roll your fenders?

lol Yeah I think that saying is going to stick around for quite some time. Ehh, 6 months thats a long long time but hey atleast it'll bring that smile back like the 1st time you got her haha. I love that feeling when spring comes back around and get to hop back on my bike for the 1st time in months, and things always feel faster when you dont get to enjoy them every day so thats a plus haha.

Ahhh, so you've got the same wheels? Let me know when ya get them slapped on i'd like to see what a x9 +45 would look like up front and if ya dont mind me asking what tire size you going to run up front on that 9" a 245? Yeah I went with Neuspeed springs so i'm going to have to roll the fenders for sure, rears are a 245 and the way it sits without rolling i'm sure my fender/tire would get eaten up.

Thanks, yeah definitely 100x better cant wait... Hmm, ya know I meant to look into that when I bought it last month because I thought it was supposed to be the other way but I completely forgot about it lol. It does say 2000 S, it had a clean carfax and I couldnt find anything that looked like it had ever been fixed but now its kinda got me worried that maybe it was pieced back together and they put the badging on wrong but how could you manage to mess that up.

And thanks for the PM about the lip really appreciate it, just got a chance to check it and working on a reply.
