i think honda put a dual for looks. most higher-end cars come with dual exhausts.

I don't understand the point you guys are trying to make, the NSX is a V6 and comes with duals, the GTO is a V8 and comes with a single with dual tips....

It is either about style, or about weight balance behind the rear axle (my opinion).

cars like the nsx and the gto have v-configuration engines. this means that there are TWO engine banks, with two seperate exhaust manifold openings. this is why you have TWO headers running out of the same engine, this is why dual is more important in these setups. with an inline 4 engine like the f20c, there is only one engine bank which requires only one header(->single exhaust).
