Got Ti?
I'll second what Jimmy said, that it is loud in an "I mean business" sort of way. Below VTEC it's very loud and boomy if you aren't careful with the throttle position; above 6000 it actually does muffle things somewhat - sounds fantastic. Ran it today at Laguna Seca with the gaggle of S2000s and bystanders were telling me it wasn't any louder than any of the other singles (Spoon, J's) and I didn't get dinged for sound. It was worth the price of admission to look under the car after a session at the track and see the piping glowing all sorts of cool purples and blues.
But make no mistake, this thing is loud - probably just as loud as a straight pipe below 6k, and only a little quieter above. Next time I'll probably bring earplugs for a trip of that distance (>400mi.)

1st choice of upgrade right there.
I have been looking at that exhaust for the last 2 months or so, and now that I actually have the S2000(as of Jan 11th) , I will have to shell out the cash to get it. There is no question.
I had some doubts when watching the touge battle on the Best Motoring vol. 2. But after reading the info above and reading the specs on the car in the vid I saw that the exhaust on the Amuse s2000 in the vid was the R1000. When watching it before I was sceptical in a way because it sounded to rattlely(Is that a word
, but now that I know they have 2 different exhausts and knowing that there is a silencer on the R1, and...listening to the sounds on the AMUSE web site for the R1(I am assuming because it sounds so much different than the R1000), I have made my mind up for sure.
Thanks for posting both pics and advising that there were 2 different exhausts. That helped me out alot. It is definately going to be the first thing I get for the new s2k.
One question though...Have you had any problems with cops since you have that exhaust, because of the db's I mean?

actually, amuse lists 4 different types of exhausts for the s2000 in one of the latest issues of options, the R1, the R1000, which i think was made for their turbo car w/ a 70mm straight pipe, and 2 sets of dual R1s, i think it said one had 3 mufflers (says it's quiet) and the other had two, so i'm i guess one is like a dual set of R1's and the other is like a dual set of R1000s, i'm still looking for a better translation, since the all the exhausts list for the same price of 1980 yen, except for the r1000 that lists for 1580 yen, maybe the dual exhaust doesn't have full titanium piping, or maybe it just costs another 2 grand for the extra muffler, anyhow if anyone wants to see the article i'll scan it
