Got to Touch the GTR Today
I know what other interior always comes up, and I don't want this thread to turn into that. I whole heartedly agree that the dash controls look cheap, but the seats in this car are very nice, and the dash itself isn't so bad either.
I didn't like a lot of things about the car from photos, but once I saw it in person it is totally different. I think once you actually get into one you'll still say, yeah this or that looks cheap, but overall the interior parts like the console, door panels, seats and etc. are more nice than the cheap parts are cheap if that makes sense.
I guess for 70k dollars the monster performers in that category are targets for people to find something wrong with them to bitch about no matter how fast, how sleek, or how much of a brute they look.

Its how people are, when they are jelous about something that is such a good bang for the buck of course they have to flaunt about a very small flaw

And people make fun of american interiors???
For a GT car (that should have a nice looking interior as it IS a grand touring car, hence th name) that is a pretty crappy plastic looking interior.

Judging something before it's even out is a bit....well....you know the drill.

I agree I havn't, but if all the fanbois here can complain about other interiors when they havn't either why can't I?
I'll be waiting patiently until one comes to the area and then I'll see if it really looks as cheap as it does in all the pictures.

but I can see someone like Amuse making a really sick one for it.
Took the words right out of my mouth when I first saw it...Can't wait till Amuse starts making parts for it....ala their 350Z...Now that Mine's is testing their white R35, cool parts are just around the corner. Nismo supposedly has some stuff in the works...Their aero stuff for the R34 was the cleanest and nicest, IMO. Its a really exciting time to be a GTR fan!! Hopefully I won't be bumped from the list at my dealer and the price gouging will be kept to a minimum!!
Now to choose a color!! Jeez they all look great to me...thats going to be a hard one. I like the Dark Metal Gray, Super Black, and Pearl White...Pearl White is very beautiful. It creates a great neutral canvas and contrast to the darker bits on the car and is every bit as classy as a black car...just more upbeat! Plus, if its good enough for Mine's...Looks like its gonna be a white'un...
