GPW ---> Nokia ---> Youtube
hiya all,
just installed my J's 4.875 . Wondering how i can take some vids on my mobile and post it on youtube. Its a Nokia so not so sure abt the format.
anyway, got some new stuff in.
Spoon Brake Lines (They are actually Goodridge hoses - bit of a scam)

Cusco Front and Rear STB

Ohlins PCV from my ex-AP1

Finally lowered (pics are grainy)

Anyway, after the 4.875 went in, the car felt a lot more lively. Its not a miracle mod, but for its price, u cant beat it.

so far so good on the FD. 60mph at 4k rpm.
actually i would think there is not much difference b/w the 4.77 and 4.875 after running thru using the gear calculator.
lemme see wat i can do abt the youtube...

Running them through a gear calculator and actually driving them on the street is totally different. You change gears way too often. They definitely were fun for taking off but if I was to do it again I wouldn't go above the 4.56's... probably not even that high on an AP2.
have to admit the 4.9s are not for everyone... esp peeps that are on highways all the time...
so far enjoying every minute of it... if i regret it, i suppose u will see a set of 4.9s on the buy/sell folder very soon.
