This is not a S2000, it is the Mazda RX-8 four door sport coupe.

My bad ... apparantly I'm not the only one to make the mistake though ... Go to http://ps2.ign.com/previews/13846.html and then find "S2000 leads" on that page ... click on the link ... and up pops the picture of the RX-8 ...

Of course, maybe I could convince you it's a 2002 S2000 Coupe ... go ahead ... click on this link

If it is, why the 7200 RPM redline?

It could be or it might be that the s2000 is the car in front of the one you are driving. Let's hope that's the case otherwise they screwed up royally.

 

That was a 3rd person view of the car, the player is controlling the s2k.

 

Why don't they release the game already?
