yes, a bit dry... but good info-
i just bought the nikon 6 mpxl camera (d100) and now wonder if i really should have!
takes nice pics, but cant do much with them cause they take too much bandwidth or files space.

I want a Canon G3. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on one? I have seen anywhere from 450-500. But I don't know how reputable are the places that sell them for 450.

What do you guys think of the new Minolta A1?? I was also thinking ogf the D100...but still very $$$$

dpreview.com is an excellent source for info on DP. More than you'll ever want to know. Pricescan.com, Streetprices.com and ZDNet.com for pricing web stores. I'm in the market myself. The new Canon Rebel digital SLR is excellent. Scaled back version of the 10D for 1/3 less $$. Nikon 5700 is another good choice for fixed lense, as is the G3.

I have the 5700 as one of my 4 camera's in my arsenal, great camera and 5 megapixels is not too shabby.
