I don't get those lifts... Why would you get a lift that doesn't allow easy access to changing wheels and suspension components?

how exactly do you access the underside of the car? change the wheels?change anything when the car's elevated? im confused. better pictures might help my confusion. =P

im sure they have different lifts for wheels and suspension. i dunno how they do it either

The reason why people get those lifts, is to save money. Scissor lifts are about 1/3rd of the price of a real one. Those lifts suck. The shop on the other hand, looks great.
