seems to be the main question here... i am also wondering.. as i live in Las Vegas... worst place to have something that can fade..

If you read through, it's been mentioned that they can cover the airbag too if desired.

As for the fade question, this is nothing new. For example, there are other high end automobile company such as porsche & BMW that offers the option to upgrade an alcantara/stitch dash. All of the ones I have encountered seem to hold up quite well.

If you take proper care of the dash, it will likely not fade. Make sure you have a sun shade covering the dash to prevent direct contact from the sun when you aren't driving it.

We use high grade alcantara, this material actually more durable than suede.
It's not a significant to where it should be a concern. We use genuine high grade alcantara...It's more weather resistance and more durable than suede.
