Why isn't the vinyl removed? How thick is the material you use to wrap it?

The foam material under the vinyl gets damaged when you peel it off. Biggest reason is that the alcantara lays flatter and sticks better onto the original vinyl. Specific parts of the dash are shaved down then wrapped to ensure proper fitment of all the trim.

Just got my dash installed!

Here are pics, of the dash and upper door cards which were both done by GoTuning done in black Alcantara with blue accent stitching.

I like it!

looks awesome ! mountain-man.... I bet it looks so much better in person too.. I have the door inserts, center console , sunvisors etc and I know taking pics are hard for alcantra.

tommy and gotuning have the best stuff!

It looks totally different in person. . . . Like a million times better. I don't know how to toke good interior pics either. I'm wondering if different lighting effects would help out. But yeah, Alcantara looks way different on camera.
