doing my car in full carbon 3m

They showed me the 3m matte black film.. it has a texture to it and is REALLY thin. The stuff on my car has NO texture to it (I can take pictures up close) and is pretty thick (around 3 mils I think?).

it will add alot of weight.I'm not quite sure what you mean by texture because my 3m didn't have any. My friend showed me 2 types of 3M flat black, non of them had any texture. One was just much darker and absorbed alot more color.
the 3M matte black I am using is pretty dark and consistent.

talking about 3mm, it's good that you aren't getting your whole car wrapped in 3mm thickness vinyl
it will add alot of weight.

.And I'll get pics for you if they still have the vinyl to know what I'm talking about. I know there is different grades of the 3m vinyl. The owners of the business said this is better and will last longer. They're good friends so I believe them
The texture I'm talking about is like a checkerboard panel on the vinyl. Can only be seen if you look REALLY close. Maybe yours doesn't have it
This vinyl is rated to last 8 years so fine by me

I will definitely get pics of the brushed aluminum vinyl!
Thanks for the comments guys.
Ho, I really need to get crackin on my new LED project.. the leaking is KILLING me and I want it done right by you rather than my shit

Three mils, not mm. One mil is .025mm So it's not heavy at all
