I have seen some homemade hardtop stand creations.

I have seen the HMS stand, which is affordably priced ($208 for stand and cover).

I have seen the Honda stand, which is nice but unreasonably priced ($600 stand + $99 for cover).

What are your opinions of each?

Given this, the HMS stand and cover seems like the no-brainer, but has anyone actually seen/used it?

Are there other alternatives?

i can vouch for this. note stand in the background of this picture. it took 50 minutes and $36.

 

I also use the home made stand. Thanks to BADS2K for the design.

i bought one for a porsche boxster hardtop and it costed me about 170 shipped and it fit perfectly...
