funny thing is.. I've noticed alot of unlikeliness posts come from those very close-minded towards one thing or several beliefs of what a car should do, or look.. r u serious?? This INDUSTRY, and scene was created to those who did not follow, but lead for an example for everyone that ANYTHING is possible!!!
I also want to see the cars that most of these "haters" drive... bet most of them have a stock or cookie cutter rides...

For many years I've been an enthusiast of fast automobiles, and whatever makes them tick. I also admire true talent when it comes to driving skills, and any mechanical agenda that requires someone who can create, improvize, develop, or innovate by limited means and be something more than just anything..
I'm all for FUNCTION over FORM, and style is something that will never be a common ground for everybody.. Everyone has a taste but it takes alot of experience with cars to appreciate things that may seem the oddest or weirdest of all.. For many years I was like some of you who were disgusted of why, how, wtf? and everything that catered to "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" mentality.. But now after so many years, I know that it's all for the LOVE of the same thing. PASSION for the Automobile.
Lowriders, Muscle Cars, 4x4's, Luxury VIP's, Slammed Vans, Riced-Out Scions, Exotics, DONKS, Classics, Resto-MOD's, PRO-street, etc. etc. etc. no matter what it is, it's not for everybody, I myself probally would not drive some or a few on the list.. But I will never put anyone down because of something they think is kool, they obviously love it and more power to them if that makes them happy..

I absolutely HATE it b/c
1) there's no way my car could survive my steep driveway if it was dumpt
2) the handling would be utterly ruined and would not survive the country drives and the track events I go to
3) bigger wheels = slow
4) it goes against everything this car was designed for
5) and because I'm super-jealous (see below)
I absolutely LOVE it b/c
1) it's different, it's an expression of yourself, and you're going against the grain
2) big wheels, stretched tires, and negative camber looks cool
3) it looks cartoonish (a minus for most, a plus for me
)
4) and I bet you definitely break necks with your ride whether at the PZ Meet, a HIN show, or cruising down Westheimer (lingo only a Houstonian would know)
I guess the cons outweigh the pros in my case, so my car will stay boring since it's not my cup of tea (although I did the stretched tire thing before
) and my hate > love (barely). But props to you for doing something different.
Can't wait to see your car in person one of these days (although I think I may have seen it if you're near the Woodlands
)

to the OP question... looks horrible. but, you did ask for feedback.
So, you'll make a post that tells us that our opinions are, in a sense, wrong... cause they disagree with the OPs mod choice.... even though he/she asked for it?
Iron - knee.
And here's the thing... you mentioned "automobile". By it's very definition, it's method of transport. That's it's very first and most important characteristic, the ability to transport. It's primary function isn't to be a "work of art" or a framed painting hanging in some hallway.
And when an automobile LOSES or DRASTICALLY inhibits that primal goal of TRANSPORT... it becomes ridiculous and gawdy at the very worst, but mostly useless. What makes it worse is when you take an automobile that is defined as a sports car... and remove the sports car aspect out of the automobile... then, you've obviously missed the target completely.
For a craptastic analogy... it's like getting a Ferrari and muting the exhaust note. Buying a Subaru and making it FWD. Buying a Station wagon and welding up the doors. you see the issue here...
Here's the kicker... he ASKED for our opinions.
Sometimes going against the grain will just get you razorburn or worse, cut. Improving on design is different than merely "being different". Once you recognize the difference, you'll see why there's such a dislike for this vehicle's current stance.
Edit:
Then again, this is the gallery which is well known for it's "hard-parkers" and show cars.

i personally think this whole flush, stretch, poke, whatever style makes most cars look like shit. everyone's got different styles blah, blah, blah. that's given but what's wrong with voicing a strong personal opinion? can anyone give a valid reason why not approving of a certain trend makes someone close minded? no i wouldn't say it to his face if we met in person but i would be thinking it. doesn't necessarily mean i think you're any less of a person so no need to be sensitive. there's different that's innovative and attractive then there's different that fall by the wayside. there's plenty of the latter, it's just that some ppl don't make the distinction. who's with me on the next big trend...4x4 stance! anyone?
