Friend of mine in Hawaii has his Subie in the vid at around 2:15 I think. Silver hatchback with bike rack; Hawaii has to be such a friendly place. You would never have a random person say "hi" to you anywhere else; it's that aloha.

But i can't help thinking that there's WAY more to modified cars than just getting a wheel that fits on the car correctly with a drop.
About time the people videoing HF started taking footage of truly modified cars. Top end modified where absolutely everything is fettled.

Keep in mind that Hawaii has a niche car culture due to the fact that not everything is easily obtainable when your on an Island. A lot of people like to adapt to what they can get and the car culture is heavily influenced with the Japanese trends which include VIP, drifting, hella flush, etc.
There are a lot of nice cars in Hawaii that would fit your idea of a modified car though. Take some of our prime Hawaii S2Ki members who rep it hard as an example. If I ever get a chance to go back and live there, I'd like to be able to showcase my S as a prime example.
