I believe it is a polished lip. I guess you could run the 7.5 front with 55 offset and 8.0 rear or 9.0 rear with 62 offset. Not sure the weight on these either but if you are really interested I could ask my brother to find out more info for me. They are two piece so if you bend something parts are available. Expensive rims though.

 

I think I would go with the Work rims the offsets are made for our car and might be easier to get them in the US. They sort of remind me of the LM's. You can get a 7.5 front with 52 offset and 8.5 rear with 64 offset in 18. I love the BBS but some people but not all have had rubbing issues therefore I would go with Work or the other rims which have offsets closer to spec.
