Default The Homemades: Exhaust!

Some of u already know that I just have to make everything myself. So this is going to be a gallery of all the things that I am making this summer. I'll keep ya posted. First up, as one of my final projects, here is a single made with the OEM resonator and another resonator at the end. sounds really nice!

Only thing left to do is to recut the angle of the tip, cut 1" outa the back so it doesn't stick out so much, and polish it. I was pretty happy about the way it turned out since I didn't learn any other form of welding before TIG and only learned that a month ago. well here it is:

Not bad...the tip looks kind of sloppy though. Grind those welds down and polish it up!

whoa! that's loud. I'm glad mine is pretty quiet for a single or I wouldn't be able to live with it. It sounds almost stock at idle but if u stand next to it u can tell a distinct sound. At full throttle it isn't bad either. It's really loud when u let off the gas however.

After finals are over I'll get a chance to recut the tip and polish the whole thing up. I'm even thinking about torching the tip blue.

Looks good, but with a little clean up I think it'll look even better...

BTW, did you ever finish your widebody conversion?

Those welds need paint, otherwise it's going to rust really fast!
