I am if the vette is running at 15-18psi and the supra is pushing 50+ psi...

The V8 will handle A LOT more HP without problems...

Each car is different, so you can't just generalize. You can say most V8s can handle a lot more HP without problems, but sure as hell not all, it will always depend on each setup.

oh, and lets not even talk about daily driving a supra with that kind of power. Ever sit in a 700+ hp supra?
Can you say LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG BOOST (for a 1/2 second) slap the redline and then next gear

750whp- yeah. And its not even close to the way you describe...Try hitting 600whp by 4k rpms?
And why would you be more impressed @ 20 psi (not 15-18) from the vette....wow, you can make a 7L engine with 2 decently big turbos push out the same amount of power a 3.3L engine and 1 big turbo (GT47-88) can do with 42 psi (not 50). You probably are more impressed b/c it is more rare on a vette and more expensive, so extra +++ for the bling bling factor
Oh and to that V8 will handle A LOT more HP without problems is purely a random call. to quote from LS1tech where that post was made and from the same thread:

Your post has so many grammatical errors that it is incomprehensible. Care to translate?

The z06 is still a far superior car than any dyno queen supra designed to make huge hp or run down a straight line.

by the way 1200hp vettes can be driven anytime anyday no prob. that WOTM supra is weak sauce.

oh my god. i was just waiting for the local supra fanboi to show up. even seen a dyno sheet of a 700+whp supra? can you say worthless power band?
the C6 Zo6 vette is twice the car the supra is. and guess what? they still make the vette so you can buy one new, you dont have to buy a stupid price for a ten year car thats been beat on.
Zo6>toyota.
the best part, the vette makes 750whp@4500rpm.

its deff fast but.. ferrari?

remember Jeremy Clarkson's comments on the vette having vietnamese suspension like on medieval chariots? haha. funny thing is these leafsprings actually lower unsprung weight and act like anti-roll bars, making handling better.
I've been in a 713whp Supra, and seen it at the track... funny thing is, it's ET was about that of a new stock Z06....
I find it ironic anyone with a 200whp s2000 is unimpressed by ANY car putting out over 1000hp...
