Everyone should go at least once... I went two years ago, there were literally THOUSANDS of beautiful cars all over town..... The pictures I posted were from Sunday and only at one hotel (peppermill)... the official Hot August Nights runs from Monday through this coming weekend!

i live in reno and although there are a lot of nice cars, it is very annoying to have all of them here. they say 500-800 thousand people visit town this weekend and the fair share of retards show up. its amazing how old muscle cars are accepted and can be as loud as they want but if we bring the imports out its frowned upon. go figure

My brother-in-law takes a car down for show every year. This year it was a old Rambler that he restored this last year.
My parents also go down every year just to see if they can find good deals on older cars that they can buy for parts.
They always have a blast down there. I am trying to set up for going next year. You need to plan a whole year in advance just to get a room down there. If you want a spot so you can show you get on a waiting list that is sometimes a year or two long.
