It was kinda a silly race if you ask me...
The racers race "Touge Style"...that is downwards on mountain roads...
They have two races...They both don't start off the same line...Its rolling start style...
The first one the EVO VII is in front with the S2000 behind...the EVO wins by quite some distance...
The 2nd race the S2000 starts in front...and the result is the other way round...the distance of the EVO behind was'nt that much difference though...
Well the EVO was like 353PS with bags of torque and 4WD...so I think the S2000 very did well...
They rated both cars at the end of the race and the drivers gave the S2000 higher marks!
Wonder why Amuse put same sized wheels and tyres all round... since so many people in the Tire Rack forum has condemned this type of set up...
Maybe Amuse is doing something wrong

I have this video. It's cool to see the S2000 in the hands of a race car driver.

It is a Mugen CAI.
The races are done on a mountain road, but the first race was done uphill and the second race was downhill. They called the race a draw. The EVO won the uphill and the S2000 won the downhill. The younger driver was all for the EVO and the older one is a die-hard rear wheel drive fan. The older one (Tsuchiya) was commenting that the AWD car wasn't any fun to drive, and that it would make all of it's gains on the straightaways. But the younger one countered by saying sarcastically that the S2000 looked so cool fish-tailing all over the place.
Tsuchiya closed the dialogue by saying that a properly set-up front-engine/rear-drive car would always be superior.
