yeah, I'm in the same boat... I have a BS in IT; my gf is about to get a MS in nursing - she will make at least 2x
in our day and age, what made men be the providers does not matter anymore. our strength and "ability to tame wilderness" is not very marketable today

i am all man, however, when my gf sees a spider or a mouse and freaks out...

That's cool, but I'd rather she took me shopping for the car. I guess he must have had a detailed list of what he was looking for or spoke about that car often. I wouldn't trust anybody else to just pick a car out for me.
