I fit the 235s today. As the picture shows--compared to stock the 235/45-17s are f-ing massive:
They fit fine for mild street driving even with a ~30mm drop, but under even mild cornering loads they would rub. I raised up the Teins a bit (still lower than stock) and uncovered what I think is the main source of the problem---though the lip on the front fenders is way smaller than the lip on the rear fenders, there are tabs under the fender guard that stick out about 15-20mm. So I popped off the top most button-tab thingamajigs, pushed the liner back and above the metal tab.
With 225s I would hit the fender guard and with larger diameter 235s I wore right through it. Instead of using a bat, I just heated up the fender and used a crowbar to push the tabs back which also held the fender liners nice and tightly:
The result is hard to see because it worked so well--the offending tab is pushed way up into the fenderwell.
The plastic still sticks out a bit, but the tires don't rub. I was tempted to take off the liners completely, but as instructed by Asura--if you take the fender liner off the tires will throw rocks up into the fenderwell and dent the metal/crack the paint of the fender (on both sides).
what have you done to your front bumper?? did you modify your CAI to go through the hole behind the headlight then cut your front bumper to install brake ducts for the intake?

The faux ducts are functional now and route cold air to the brakes. The NACA duct zip-tied into the bumper feeds the Comptech SC with fresh O2.
