There are no Camaros or Firebirds in Australia, atleast none that aren't grey market. A GTS-T is cheaper then an imported and converted to RHD Camaro down there.

Mines13 - Didn't know that, thanks for the info. My friend's uncle has an R34 with 1,042awhp, how much more power do you really need?

Same reason why someone put a 2jz in a s2k only to prob do the quarter the same as a nicely turbo'ed s2k (ie that 450 whp 10 sec s2k)...

Just because i guess.
I tend to think that a turboed S2k is a reliability risk. Am i wrong? I'm sure to be told so by someone who has one and has no problem with it.

The 2jz Is proven and basicly bullet proof. If you like the design of the car but don't autocross then the f20c isn't the exact motor for you. If you like the design of the car and you race from street light to street light then a 2jz swap into the s2k is just right for you. See how it's not just something to be done. I didn't meen to flame you if you think that was my intention then i apologize. I'm just expressing my OPINION.

Sweet Swap, but i'm not a fan of the LSx's but on the other hand a TT is a newish sight to me so it's neat. I wouldn't do it to mine though thats for sure.

if this car was made for the quarter mile, 0-400, whatever; then why would they switch to a RWD drivetrain? unless they somehow made the AWD transmission fit the LS1, this would make no sence. i see no gain from a performance standpoint in this swap.

most likely just a way to showcase a shop's ability. speaking of which, does anybody know who built this car?

well how many AWD cars do u see running 8 and 9s!!?? hahaha... i know there are those AWD skylines, Sti, Evos that are super fast but compared to the RWD cars, there's less.

i believe AWD's partial goodness is only for launching as far as drag racing goes, after that, it's only shear weight.

the entire domestic v8 swapps have never really appealed to me. they're sweet, fast and i'm sure takes alot of hard work a dedication, but i'm one to stick with the original rb26!!
