Seung,

Thanks for posting this thread. It saved me at least an hour or two on my install. I think I had the entire project done in less than 2 hours.

BTW, That white gooey shit holding on the plastic can be your friend. I took a little piece of it off and put it on the back of each washer. This held the washers in place when I was trying to get the nuts threaded on the bolts. Also, I used a 1/4 in socket with three very small extensions and one very long extension and was able to get it in the hole to remove and tighten one of the nuts on the mirror. I could get the extensions to flex just enough to reach the bolt.

anyone know where i can find information about how to tighten the CF mirrors, mine are stiff but with a little force they can be adjusted, is it meant to be this way or are they meant to be super tight?

Super tight.

Because I've re-adjusted mine so much, in the past week, the drivers side has become terribly loose, and just flops around if you do more than 60km/h.

I'm thinking of reverting back to the stock mirrors and just buying convex mirrors instead.

be careful not to over-tighten the mirror base to the door. You can create a dent in the door's metal around the base.
