i was sad that the j's racing s2k lost =/
That FD would have completely owned the s2k during the first run if it had a better suspension setup. It looked way too twitchy for that touge track. But man, that was just when it pulled away from the s2k like it was standing still during the 2nd run.

You can tell the J's s2k was the more balanced car though.

Anyone know the specs of the Amuse s2300? Does it just have a 2.3L stroker?

I'm trying to figure out what's happening in the last segment..

1) S2k starts first, Draw
2) FD starts, FD wins by a wide margin

Sudden death? Clearly, I thought the FD was already the winner at this point.

3) s2k starts again, s2k wins
4) FD starts, Draw although FD seemed to have increased the gap

I'm trying to figure out why the FD's performance seemed to gradually drop over those 4 runs...maybe cooling issues since it is force induced?

Anyway it was great to see Amuse take the prize, although I suspect the FD may have been the better car.

Is it just me or are there way too many naive high school students on this forum?

All these races are rigged - whoever pays the producers (tsuchiya) the most sponsorship/advertising money or the most cooperative (which I suspect is the same thing) will inevitably win at the races.

Why do you think J's S2000 was put up against an rx7 (which was visibly faster than the RE Amemiya example), when the Amuse was up against a civic?
