and in terms of how fast the car is, that is completely relative, yes it looks like it is moving extremely fast when the car filming behind it is moving slow, and when the camera man is standing still. and however fast it may be going is extremely emphasized by the sound that it is making, really does sound good though, but can't be good at all for the car, exhausts are on a car for a reason other than keeping it quiet.

 

Yup open header you can tell because of the exhaust overlap in low RPMs. Sounds like a tractor down low :-)

would removing your exhaust from the test pipe back be similiar as far as the sound and "performance"

My guess is that the trailing car was going at least 40 and that S was going a lot faster than that...

Yes on the sound, performance who knows. This is a very misleading video as far as speed goes. We have no real idea of how fast the car is going and whether it has any other mods to it.

Lets see some dyno charts before everyone goes around thinking the hytech header makes the car as fast as a SCed s2k.

 

i was the one who video taped this. if you can remember a couple years back hytech made a one-off piece for a member (pacman). its a header/exhaust..all slip on. that piece has been on my buddy's car for quite some time now. in both videos, the rear section was off.

as far as the car being quick..it is..no doubt about it. there are other mods and dyno sheets...but i'll let the owner of the car decide if he wants to give the info.
