Hytech header w/ J's 70rr!
This past week I sold my j's header and picked up a hytech header. I also decided that I missed my old j's 70rr so luckily I was able to track it down and bought it back. I knew that the hytech header was longer than oem so I would have to modify the 70rr. I talked to Alex @ Ballade Sports and found out that Louie @ L-con welded titanium so long story short - I now have a 70rr that's mated to hytech header and I LOVE IT (sorry Alex and Louie...didn't think it was going to be such a pain in the ass
). Anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking, but the exhaust came out wonderful and fits great!
Pictures of where the exhaust was cut, shortened, and rewelded. Beautiful welds!

While Louie was mocking up the exhaust, he noticed a pretty nasty hairline crack so he rewelded it:

Some pictures of the hytech header (tried to be artsy here lol)

Thanks L-Con and Ballade Sports

thanks guys, i'll try to get some sound clips this week. so far it sounds AMAZING! it actually sounds better than when i had my 70rr and j's header (less raspy....much cleaner sound). unfortunately i don't have any dynos but i can say that the hytech definitely makes more torque and midrange. the j's header was great but the hytech definitely pulls more

in for sound clips!
