WOW, what an ego boosting thread...I am feeling better and better to have chosen this car over a new 350Z or RX8. Those other autos were under consideration but when I saw this Blue NSX I knew that my search was over.
I will definitely get wheels and exhaust for the NSX, Widebody will be years away. No supercharger for now for either vehicles.

It also had Lojack, remote start, turbo timer built in, motion detectors, etc.... $799.00 installed is the MSRP from Autosound Specialist in Westminster on Beach and Westminster.

Beautiful car you have there, I was just curious about the alarm though. Is this a really new updated version of the alarm because I know there were two versions of the alarm an older one and a newer updated version which was introduced into the market in 2000 I believe and there hasn't been a newer version since. The newer version has a maximum range of up to 1/4 mile so I am curious how the alarm you are getting goes up to 2 miles.

The only other 2-Way alarm with an extended range which has the furthest I believe in the market is the Compustar alarm http://compustar.org/ which the maximum range is only 1 1/4 miles using the latest technology. My post here is not of jealousy or envy or anything of that nature, I am actually also in the market for an NSX. I am just here to give you a heads up on the Aladdin alarm and passing on info that I have come across. I was also considering this alarm but I lost interest after reading about some rants on the net about the alarm about the malfunctioning of some commands and how the components used mainly the switches/pins are of low quality.

Now I hope you don't run into these problems and are fully satiusfied with your purchase.

All, I know is what the sales rep told me. I have the remote start on the S2000 from Viper but it is limited to what you can program it to do so I just stepped up a little to this latest and greatest per the sales rep. It seems like it can do more with the clock on the transmitter, multiple programing capabilities. The range is not as important as to what I want the car to do. (Remote start, remote windows up/down,trunk release, etc..

Got a Price Quote for Mercury Silver GT-C 215/40/17 Front and then 275/35/18 Rears from Wheel Warehouse of $2890.00 plus tax. Very tempted to get these for the NSX. Gunmetal or Silver ?

I agree. IMO, silver will enhance the blue much better.
