They actually are touching. I put some heat resistant tape between them to help with any rubbing.

 

What's that in your brake ducts? I see the CAI tube but it looks likes you have some sort of air directors in there?

I'm still too squeamish to cut those open for the CAI

 

It's nothing special. I didn't add anything in there. I hadn't noticed it until you said something.

 

I like the red calipers and i plan to do the same. Was it easy? What company's paint did you buy to do the job?

 

G2. Easy as pie to do. You do not need to remove the caliper, but the wheels are a must (obviously). The painting has to be done within about three hours though, because teh paint hardens in the can after about five hours. I wanted to do one last coat the next morning and the paint was hard as a rock in the can. I would buy another can to do a little touch up, but I think it was around $50 per can. Expensive, but it is very shiny.
