Default I heard the rev limiter and it was gone!

So I am stopped behind this "race car" at the traffic light. I'm ear to ear 'cause I'm thinking-custom fab, sort of Ariel Atomish, side exhaust. He looks in the rear view and revs the motor. I'm thinking-I hope he isn't thinking I want to run him
He looks in his side view and gives me a and points at me. OK-maybe he likes the GPW with white CEs
Light turns green and he lights the tires up. Hits rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gets on the interstate and he is G-O-N-E. I'm doing about 110 and I can barely see him. He was game enough to slow down and let me catch up to him. I just happen to have my Nikon and snapped pics. He then pulled into my exit to get gas and talked to me and let me snap a couple of more quick shots. Nice guy, car enthusiast, loved the S2000. Basically, S2000 motor and gearbox, Vortech running 9.5 lbs I think and 1300 lbs. Check out his web site: www.organicracing.com

Definitely not the prettiest car on the road, but that's obviously not the goal anyway . Sounds fast as hell judging by the numbers and your experience. Sounds like a cool dude

You can drive these kind of kit cars on open roads? And without a helmet too?

I want one!

Yeah, that's an ultralite S2k. A kit car basically like an S, but less than 1/2 the weight. One or two of them here in the DC area that run Auto-x with the Mid-A crew. Really fast, and handle like no other. Must be SICK s/c'ed
