Default I'm feeling very stupid

not to mention it's almost 3am.

I've "searched" but can't figure it out still- how do I get a picture to show up in a post

I've got a photo on the harddrive, loaded it up to photopoint, typed a reply and hit the IMG button, pasted the address, and voila- the dreaded "red X" shows up. anyone? please?

gracias. I'm going to bed now, see y'all tomorrow...........

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............................. ........

Just manually type "" at the end.

To make a picture viewable in a thread, you need the URL of the actual picture, not the page it's on. Go to Photopoint and right click on the image you want to display. Scroll down to properties and left click. Highlight the link where it says the address (URL). Right click the selection and scroll down to copy and left click it. Now, when you go to post, type: (img) , paste the URL, (/img) with no spaces. Instead of (), use []. That should do it.

Example, I want to show a picture of my dog. The URL of the page the picture is on is http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u...&p=38951993&f=0 but the URL of the actual picture is http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=9583...1993&Sequence=0

So, will equal:

and will result in:
