Are those commercial floor tiles? My first thought was jackstands digging in.

I seriously need to do my garage floor. I got the lighting done, the walls painted white, wall cabinets mounted, phone and cable done and hope to get the security cameras installed this week yet.

Nice work.

about how much did that cost you? cause i was thinking about doing something like that to my garage also..
thanks
looks really good
tiles are 12 inch armstrong vct tiles in a 2x2 checkered pattern. you can find these at your local home depot. black tiles ~$28 a box(45 tiles) and white tiles ~$26 a box(45 tiles). it comes out to 63 cents a tile for black and 58 cents for white. i had 400 sq. ft.

adhesive is about $48 for a 4 gallon bucket. this is plenty for 400 sq. ft. i recommend filling cracks/leveling your garage floor with floor leveler before laying down the tiles. .

if you give the tiles room to flex they can crack. i leveled the floor and filled in the cracks with floor leveler. in general vct is less likely to crack sitting on a flat concrete surface.

I have a 3 car garage, the size is about 600 sq-ft. I like to clean up the garage too, will you tell me what is vct tile ? how thick is it ? the tile size in your garage is 18"x18" ?
Thanks
VCT stands for vinyl composite tile. It's a floor tile that most commonly comes 12"x12" and is about an 1/8" thick. It is mostly used in commercial floor application. You can find them at any home center like Home Depot or Lowes. Armstrong is a very popular manufacturer of VCT.
