Arrow Intake Heat Shield

Took me a few hours today to put this together. Nothing special just showing some pics in case someone has been wanting to do something similar.

Just getting rid of the heat soak at stop lights and trapping some cold air. It seals via gasket when you close the hood and mounts to the existing stock intake holes. Very similar to the K & N. Why not just buy a K & N? there's no fun in that . Also theres a little drain hole for any water.

I still like the little scoop you are running. If I had a spare hood Id try it. Problem is my blower heat the intake charge up so much, I doubt it would benefit me any. : (

Very cool!

is it made out of sheetmetal? I was thinking of doing something simular. Would it be an issue driving in the rain with the scoop?
