Why is he an idiot? Are you referring to the driver? He is on a track in a "controlled environment". It looks like something happend that was out of his control. I am sure he was aware of the risks involved at travelling more than 200 MPH. I would not call this guy an "idiot". I am just glad he is ok, the car can be replaced.

yea i definitely wouldnt say idiot but i would think that opening the chute at 200mph wouldnt be the smartest thing as it would create an instant drag and make the car a lil unpredictable
