Craig2teg, basically cut off the existing tips and weld a new stainless steel pipe that will fit into the AP2 tips, therefore you can easily take the AP2 tips off if you ever need to. Good luck.

looks awesome...i love the stock ap2 tips...any exhaust i get, i would like to put the ap2 tips on so glad to know it can be done with some exhausts.

You can do this on the HKS Hi-Power too. It's actually easier on the HKS because the AP2 tips fit over the HKS tips perfectly.

^Unfortunately yes you need to weld a pipe so you can slide in the AP2 tips in place. Pretty much the same set up with the OEM exhaust.

its coll cuz the tips stick out past the bumper and dont sit flush like the oem exhaust

For even more of a sleeper (or OEM) look, you should paint the mufflers flat black. But regardless, it looks real good man

I don't actually think the V4 tips look that bad, but OEM definitely fill out the bumper more nicely.

How do you like the Q300 sound as compared to OEM? I hear it's only slightly louder. I'm actually leaning towards this exhaust once I'm ready to make a change.
