Thailand won't set you back that much. Your biggest expense will probably be the plane ticket. I think right now they are about $1300? Once you're there everything is pretty cheap. You can get some awesome food in the markets and be stuffed for $1.00. Visit Bangkok for the city life and abundance of markets. Go see a more peaceful, rural Thailand up north in Chiang Mai. Then make your way south to Kho Samui, Phuket, Phi Phi Island, etc. If you've ever watched the movie, "The Beach", with Leonardo Dicrappio you can get an idea of how beautiful the south of Thailand can be.

amen, you said it.

food is very cheap in thailand, but just be careful what you stuff into your tummy, some local food is not the cleanest for the average american stomach

yeah some of the pics ive seen on google certify the beauty of the scenery... as for the food.. well i guess its best to bring antibiotics for the B.G.'s just in case.. i guess it would be cool to split a trip in half city half rural cuz my main interest is seeing the small towns and waters (some of the pics ive seen of oceanfront were downright breathtaking) ..

thats awesome!!! next time i go to Cambodia for 1 or 2 months, Thailand here i come!!! i'm also trying to start a whole new life in Cambodia, buy a land in the rural area, build a modern villa, and have a farm.

if you go to battambang in cambodia, theres actually a haunted house located on that one road that takes you there. that house is located all by itself, in front of the road, with nobody around. will you dare to take a picture of it, since nobody post it up. please dont disrespect this house, its something you do not want to mess with, from want i heard?

oversea traveling is the best!!! plane ticket is a killer, but everything is WORTH IT!!!

have fun and post more pics..,
