wow stop playing.. thats a long name so why bangkok and what does bangkok mean? what about the 9 gems? are they real gems? or are they referencing something within the city?

It was before the hurricane hit it. When I visited everything was being rebuilt and there were WAYY too many tourists there.

I also went to Krabi, very nice place not too many people go there. (our hotel was amazing too!)

got a question? since there is tension going on in thailand with cambodia, about "preah vihear". is it really that bad, many protesting along the streets? you lucky that you are there, since history is being made. it might be really hard to go into cambodia, since ive heard that thailand blocked the border from anyone getting thru?

 

tension about the temple? why ?

 

Phuket is fun a great place to spend sometime to relax especially for those who love water sports..

 

the temple belongs to cambodia, but somehow thailand manage to steal the land that its on, a little at a time. thailand's goverment decided with some other source, to make it a world heritage's site and its now official that it belongs to cambodia. the thai' people is mad because, this is a sign of the goverment's weaknesses. thailand tried to claim that cambodia's angkor wat belongs to them to, awhile ago

at the border line, soldiers are standing side by side, preparing to shoot each other. whats the tourist's reactions toward all this!? i wish i was there!!!

dont worry, cambodia wont be a slump anymore. a few years from now, its gonna look like L.A. or miami, many international's investments are involved , to reconstruct the entire major area and its happening now!

You basically know the whole story. I went up North alil to Chantaburi and was stopped twice by a police blockade. I guess they are making sure people arent smuggling cambodians into the country or something. The whole temple debate is still in the air. But nothing crazy has happened here in Bangkok.

As for movies yeah, my brother told me the thai scary movies are the scariest stuff. He says when he goes to the movies to watch an american scary movie, none of the thai girls flinch compared to their scary movies. haha.


Our tickets are booked and I will be heading to Tokyo for 2.5 weeks starting August 2. I already planned to going to the Spoon and maybe Js Racing Shop while im there. Maybe more but well see.
