I did actually, but he said he can only open it with a tool
I would've said, "Oh, then let me open it, because I'm obviously with a tool right now."

LMAO... This billet grill is an intercooler!

I guess some people just try to make their cars into status symbols or something?

I find it hilarious when people lie about their cars like that. I once was speaking to the owner of one of the new Ford GT40s, and once a crowd had gathered, he explained to everybody that his car did 0-100 mph in under 3 seconds!

There are lots of logical explanations for this... stupidity, boredom, desire to be accepted by "the wrong crowd". The list goes on.

So at work yesterday (Winstar Casinos in Oklahoma) I see this yellow AP1 pull in and I'm like oh sweet, I'll go pick this guy up and talk about his car. As I got closer it just made me want to run away

He even had the S2000 emblem removed and moved near the fender going diagonally. The tail lights arn't tinted, it seems like it's a spray painted cover, didn't even look smooth.

I feel like I felt when I had my G35...

Driving around I had it fully JDM rebadged only to be driving and see a 350z like this...

He tried to convince me he was a real skyline with 50psi running 900+ hp
