Both of the Togue courses they use are actual race tracks, I remembered the name of one of them, its called Gunsai Togue, its a 6km course.

 

So you guys were wondering what an FD would do to the supposed Touge Monster on dry streets???? I'll put the link up and by the way, that is only on the gunsai course that the J's S2k has won so many times it would get it's arse handed to it many times over at other courses such as Ebisu, or Hakone....
So before you go jumping to the conclusion that it would beat a stock R35, wonder about a modified one on a different course. It may be a champ at gunsai, but that's hardly anything to compare it with.

It may not have won both times but it does show J's S2k that some of you say is the new Touge Monster has been "Beaten" at points, and is not the coolest ride out there.
It's is one mean street machine, I'll give it that but I think too many people are putting it into "god mode status" like it's untouchable, just a dose of reality

 

that's an older video of the J`s racing and FD car.
that's not even the Blue FD that was the fastest togue(monster) car and has beaten the J`s s2000 in the past.
but who won this year? the J`s. you can't deny that. the s2000 & FD have the best setup for Togue.


so get outa here with that "its not God" bullsh*t, we`re not just Fanbois- the Japanese call the s2000 the "ultimate cornering machine".

this course isn't about power, its all about being lightweight and handling.

 

Sounds like fan boy speak to me.... Seems to me like these days in the Super GT 300 class it's either a 350z, or the Cusco subaru winning not J's.
And in Super Taikyu the following goes as first place wins for each class
ST Class 1 :# 28 Petronas BMW ST Class 2 :# 37 Evo ST Class 3:# 333 MandM sport 350z, and ST Class 4:# 51 AGY DC5, all of which in any of these races bested J's(civic),
As for back in the day over all winner for 2004 300 class was the M-Tec NSX, an S2K has never been a champ in the 300 class. Show me anything that car won besides touge recently. Who gives a @#$% about who the Japanese think is a corner god, there's a million other cars out there who can do the same cornering just as well. And like I said before just because it does good on one touge track doesn't mean $%!t... It is a bad @$$ car, and no ones saying else wise, I'm just tired of Honda fanboi's thinking it's un-beatable.
As for it's time on gunsai it's only a matter of time before in falls under the shadow of a better car which is already out there, it just hasn't been posted on youtube yet. And just because it's not the amemiya RX7 doesn't mean #$%^ either, it still lost to Fujita so no butt's about about it. As far as I'm concerned J's S2K isn't worthy of the Touge Monster calling. Sure it's beaten a few cars, but not all. And also I would call it the temporary Touge Monster of gunsai, but nothing more then that. J's built a good car, but it's beatable.

Just search Hot Version Volume 93 and look for the gunsai(as it is in the videos) and gansai as whoever posted them has put for the titles, there should be 8 sections in all.
P.S. So we know the S2K had better tires and the right amount of power for the rain.
Like I posted before on dry streets the Fujita(Feed) FD rocks the S2k, and it at least pulls a tie with it in this latest version even though it's raining...
Can't wait to see what the next rematch holds! (on a sunny dry day!)

 

haha i never said the s2000 is unbeatable. i am completely aware that on the track it is a very capable car but not the greatest.
