A while back at Bradenton I (bone stock) drag raced a vortec supercharged S2000. I had him good for most of the race until he caught me at at the finish line by 1/2 a car length. He got a 13.7 and I got a 14.2. After the race he was mad that he barely beat a bone stocker after spending nearly $6000 for installation and tuning(300rwhp). I also have driven a comptech supercharged S2000 that actually felt slower than a stock S2000 down low. I drove an STI which felt very fast at all speeds and all rpm's. In a straight line race an STI would eat the S2000 for breakfast supercharger or not. From a standstill . . .no contest, from a roll the whooping would not be quite as severe. An S2000 on a 75shot or higher of nitrous(safely tuned of course: fuel pump upgrade, colder plugs, not running too lean ect.) would stand a much beter chance against the STI in a drag race. These views expressed are the sole opinion of Hygieneboy and do not reflect the views of S2KI, Honda or Subaru motor companies.
