Yea, I know. Ever since I spilled a whole quart of oil in my trunk and removed the ruined carpets, it's made this silly rattle. My previous car was a 2g DSM, so I'm quite used to the little noises.

is that the motorklasse exhaust cap?
Yes, I got it off of ebay for 290$. . . . It could just be the seller screwing me with a cheap knock off. But his auction stated a perfect fit, and he has a 100% positive seller feedback. It doesn't curve along with the bumper correctly, so I can't get it to stick.

Head on head comparison. Rick's on the top, OE on the bottom.

I used the golf ball as a reference here on the OE Header.

And on the Rick's. . . As you can see, it consumes the ball quite easily. If i stood the header up, the ball would actually roll all the way through without getting stuck in any of the 4 ports. I just thought that was pretty cool.

There will be another video to come soon, but first. . I think after the install tonight, a small pesky exhaust leak became evident, so that must be fixed first. I'll get into tomorrow after class and get her patched up.

There's a noticeable gain midrange right before vtec engages. . and I'm almost certain there's power gains on the top end as well. Notable torque gains throughout. About half the price of toda, mugen, and j's.

that would have sucked if the golf ball got stuck and you couldnt get it out looks like a quality header though.

I have purchased the carbon exhaust cap from J's racing have yet to install it yet though but i put it up against the bumper for test fit and it lines up perfect.

mine also doesnt follow the contours of the bumper perfectly but if i press up against it it does

its normal for it to not be 100% on the surface from end to end. the part is extremely flexible because of how it is made, so it will contour its self properly once applied correctly with a cleaned surface and a heat gun if available in colder climates.
