Regarding the "no originality issue", let me give you my point of view. I don't think J's is trying to copy any of the wide body kits offered for the S2k. They are just inspired in the Super GT series, which is the pinnacle of Japanese GT cars. In fact all the designs you know are different interpretations of the series from each company(call it Amuse, ASM or Top Fuel).

examples:

I totally understand where you're coming from, but what happens if say a company (Seibon) pull something like this. Not exactly like Amuse, not exactly like J's, but something of a mix. I bet you all the JDM fanatic are gonna bash on that company, saying how they rip all the JDM companies off, and that they're gonna go out of business. Because J's is a JDM company, they pull this and everyone can't wait to drop 10K+ to buy this, and it looks hot because it's a mix between all the wide bodies.

Also, all the pictures you posted. They look similar, but they all have their own special "look". Their own touches. The sketch J's release is a drawing of all the different parts from different wide bodies. It's not similar, it's not "influenced', it's a cut and paste.

Not exactly. The APR kit is not JDM and it looks badass. BTW, I'm a JDM fan but I would rock it

That's probably because they are totally different cars with similar kits.

Dude, I'm not trying to argue with you . I posted all those pictures just to let some people know where all these JDM companies come from with their "original designs"

You folks are "reaching" so much over a drawing that I don't even know where to begin.

IMO it looks like J's took all the existing widebody and mix them together, spit this out and call it their own.

No originality.
nothing is original ......
