Impressions: Overall, the car feels awesome without that 75 lbs in there. It feels much faster and feels great through turns. I completed the soft top removal in 3 hours exactly. I then painted the QuietCar through the next day, then reinstalled in about 2 hours the next day. I took my time and I was working by myself which was hard at times, namely getting the soft top out of the car. Any questions, feel free to ask.

It wasn't exactly easy, but it is doable. You have to be comfortable taking out the interior of a perfectly good car. Like I said, I got it out in 3 hours. Rattling won't be a problem; everything has it's place and goes back together perfectly. Expect to spend most of a Saturday tackling this project. The roll hoops have to come out, but the covers stay on them. There are 8 bolts per hoop that come out, that part is really easy.

Why didn't you go with the OEM hardware for the hardtop?

Those snow pictures are CRAZY

My top has always had a rattling problem and I tried every fix I could think of. I decided to give this a try seeing as how I almost never have the top off. All the rattles are gone and the silence is amazing, plus these brackets shave 8 pounds off of the stock hardware.
