Default JDM Headlight On A Suzuka Blue

just got my JDM headlight installed. looks so sweet... plus I got a pretty good deal on it, total was about $750. but one thing, the signal light socket was too big : confused: so I had to use the tape to hold it... anyone had that problem when installing their JDM headlight? anyway... I'm still happy with it and just thought I could share with you guys.

the installation time was about 2 hr. wasn't that bad. but I will never want to take off my bumper again unless I have to... it's just pain in the A#$. enjoy!!

Yeah, I had the same problem when my Euro-headlamps were installed. The Honda dealership that installed them for me was able to find a place that sells the right size bulbs. So they are available. Secondly, don't the JDM headlights blind on coming traffic being that they are designed for driving on the left side of the road? I'm not sure that the Japanese drive on the other side of the road but thats what I heard.

Yes its true you blind the heck out of everyone. You can adjust them though. I have had mine on for a year and I still get people flashing me even with the adjustment. I installed mine in about 2 hours as well. I just didnt like messing with the HID assembly. I did have the same problem and no one here could help me with the signal socket. I have left them taped for a year and have had no problems.

You can contact Rick Hesel at www.ricks2k.com for the new sockets that fit in the JDM and Euro spec headlights. Just plug and play I believe. Heres the thread regarding the sockets... CLICK HERE

OR, you can order sockets for the rear taillights on Accords, and tap it into the existing wires. Those sockets fit as well. Heres the thread for the part numbers... CLICK HERE

Good luck!
