I replaced the stock bulb with the PIAA "Plasma Ion Yellow" bulb. You can see the difference when shining the light against a wall, and it does look a bit more yellow when driving, but it likely will not be as yellow as you want.

This is because the DRLs are just the high beams powered at half wattage, so no matter what bulb you use, it won't look yellow enough simply because there isn't enough power. When fully powered as a high beam, it does look quite yellow, but obviously you can't drive around like that.

Here are some pictures in DRL mode (sorry, I don't have a comparison picture vs stock):

It looks like he's just pulling the high beam ..

If he were to turn the car on and have high beam on, the low beam will also be on and it will be HELLA BRIGHT ...

When I asked the same question back .. someone told me that there IS a way to run with just the high beam on, but its not just plug and play ... so I abandoned that idea.

His LBP's lighting was the same as mines .... it isn't super noticeable with just DRL FYI.

Those pictures are with no lights on, i.e. DRLs only. I always thought it was impossible to turn on the high beams without also turning on the low beams (HIDs)? When you pull it to flash it, don't the HIDs come on? Or maybe it's different when the car is off (the engine was on in those pictures)? lol, I've never bothered to figure it out

Either way, al4t1gbundy is correct that when both low beam and high beams are on, it is very bright (obviously) and much more yellow, since the bulb is being powered at full wattage.

So basically, it is very noticeably yellow when high beaming, but nobody drives with their high beams on anyway ( ). When in DRL mode, it's only slightly more yellow, but I like it Just don't expect some pure yellow light like you see in the fog lights of other cars.

i had it on my accord but i didnt wire the bulb to the high beam plug, i wired it to my corner lights so it wouldnt be full wattage like high beam. so in other words it would be the same amount wattage as corner lights but in the high beam housing, ur basically not going to have a high beam its always going to be on with ur corners, my honest opinion it looks awesome and not to bright
